Length = l = 3x
Width = w = 2x
P = 2l + 2w
P = 2(3x) + 2(2x)
530 = 6x + 4x
530 = 10x
53 = x
Length = 3x = 3(53) = 318 / 2 sides = 159
Width = 2x = 2(53) = 212/ 2 sides = 106

the length of the lot is 159 yards
the width of the lot is 106 yards
