She knows the monkey will be startled by the sound of the tranquilizer gun and will let go of the branch at the instant the gun is fired. Where should the scientist aim to hit the monkey? (Above it, below it or directly at it?)

3. a golfer hits a golf ball an initial velocity of 54m/s [42 degrees above the horizontal]. the ball lands on an elevated green that is 14m higher that the level from which the golfer hit the ball.

a) how far away horizontally from the golfer does the ball land?

b) what is the velocity of the ball when it lands?

2). The scientist should aim the dart below the monkey. By the time the dart
