Draw two different figures that each have a perimeter of 14 units .Then find the aera of each

Answer :

You could make a rectangle with the base of 5 units and a height of 2 units. So the perimeter would be 5+5+2+2 which is 14 and the area would be base times height ,in this case it would be 5 times 2 which is 10 squared units. The 2nd figure would be an isosceles triangle with the base of 6 units  the height of 2 units, and the 2 other sides would be 4 units. The perimeter would be 6+4+4 which equals to 14 units and the area, 6 times 2 and the half of that is 6 so the area for the triangle is 6 units squared
