in order to get a fraction into a decimal all you do is divide the fraction out............heres how to remember how and where your numbers go just remember this: top dog (numerator) goes in the house snoopy (denominator) stays out.............so in this case 14 would go in the inside and 49 would stay out. so 14 divided by 49 is 0.2857142857........thats all it is just remember top dog goes in the house snoopy stays out..........so 14/49=0.2857142857.........hope it helps :)
