I am going to give you all the answers after I explain how to answer these questions by yourself. Basically, just substitute the numbers into the function accordingly.

For example, lets say I have the arbitrary function:

[tex]f(x)=6x+2[/tex]

If I want to calculate[tex]f(1)[/tex] of that function, replace all [tex]x[/tex]'s with 1.

[tex]f(1)=6(1)+2[/tex]
[tex]=f(1)=6+2[/tex]
[tex]=f(1)=8[/tex]

Done! Lets try calculating [tex]f(2)[/tex]

[tex]f(2)=6(2)+2[/tex]
[tex]=f(2)=12+2[/tex]
[tex]=f(2)=14[/tex]

Those are just some examples. There are many. Without further ado, here are the answers:

1)-2
2)4
3)10
4)-36
5)16
6)30
7)6
8)61

Thank you, and I hope that helped you.
