World war one started because a boy from Italy who was in gang called the black hands killed a Man in Berlin and the country wanted justice and the way they thought was right is by declaring war and Italy asked Germany for help and they helped and Berlin asked England and France for help and they did as well which started a world war. UK and Russia's Soviet union escalated the conflict.
