The Impressionist movement was an artistic movement, which took place mainly in France, specifically in Paris, and were a group of artists who used thin, visible brushstrokes to represent movement in very ordinary subject matter. They also painted these very simple objects in unusual visual angles to represent human perception and experience. One of the most famous impressionist artists was Claude Monet.
