This is for people who have read Skellig by David Almond. How do the 'Skellig Rocks' connect to the book and how did they inspire David Almond. Also please give me some facts on the Skellig Rocks. Thank you, I am very stuck. ^___^

David got inspiration for the names 'Skellig' and 'Michael' from the Skellig Islands in Ireland. One of them is Skellig Michael Island. Michael is also the name for archangel. The Skellig Island also features the rock. So, the Skellig Rocks connect to the book because David got the inspiration from the island they are found on.
