The number of way we can choose 2 males out of 8 is combinations of:

C(8,2)=7*8/2 =56/(1*2)=28 
to choose 3 females out of 6
C(6,3)=6*5*4/(1*2*3)=120/6=20
the number of committees is=  28*20=560
