Step 2: Start investigating how others have used psychology as an RN. Start examiningacademic resources for more specific information on the role psychology plays in nursing. Select at least three (3) sources that increase your knowledge of these connections. Step 4: review the literature/resources you found. Analyze, organize and describe (in your own words) the research findings on your topic. Your literature review should clearly and succinctly summarize previous research findings. Discuss the methodologies and variables of interest that may be used to investigate the topic. Point out the important findings and explain how they support, and are relevant, to nursing. Be sure to address whether these findings are correlational and what limitations may exist. Cite and give credit to your sources.Step 5: Next, you should evaluate and draw your own conclusions from the research. Whatimplications can be derived from your investigation? Give at least two (2) examples, supported by your literature review, of how psychology may be used to describe, explain, and/or predict behavior(s) related to this field.
