Investigate how Racism was applied in Nazi Germany (Consult your Textbook)
Investigate how Racism was applied in South Africa (Interview 3 relevant people)
Investigate Sobukwe's concept of 'one human race'.
RESEARCH GUIDELINES: THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA SHOULD BE USED FOR PURPOSES OF MARK
ALLOCATION
1. Organisation & presentation of learner portfolio (evidence of performance)
2. Draw a Research Plan
3. Identify & Access relevant sources of information (textual & human resources). For Human
resource, identify at least 3 relevant people.
4. Develop/ Formulate ONE question per items I-V above (to assist in in your investigation).
The same questions should be directed to the 3 identified interviewees.
5. Present the findings of the research in a form of an essay of 2-3 pages. Learners should use
their own language. This is where plagiarism should be avoided at all costs. The essay should
be well structured (with an Introduction, Body and Conclusion)
6. Self-Reflection (a learner should write a paragraph or two on: challenges encountered while
undertaking the investigation; lessons learnt or the impact of the research to him/her).
7. Acknowledgement of sources of information.
