find the x-value:
pick a point on shape A—i'm going to go with the point (1, -3)
find that point on shape B and then basically count the squares u need to get there, on the x-axis. that point on shape B is (-4, 1) so do the math and u get -5.
now we find the y-value:
use the same point, i would say, and do the same thing but for y—u get +4.
therefore, the vector is -5 on the top and then 4 on the bottom.
