There are 100 writing prompts/story starters. Choose one
and write a story based on it.
Requirements:
• It must be at least one page long, 14 point,
double-spaced. (Write your story in the box on the
next page. Fill up the box to make it one page.)
Your first paragraph should have 3-4 sentences
describing the setting of the story.
You should include at least two characters and be
sure to describe them when you first put them in the
story.
• Your characters should engage in several lines of
dialogue, properly punctuated (remember to start a
new paragraph every time someone speaks).
