Circuit Low Pass Filter
The first element of the signal conditioning circuit is a filter to remove the noise in the measurement. signal. This circuit stage needs to implement a low pass filter where the input voltage is the emulated measurement signal from the Stage 1 circuit.
Design Objectives and Constraints
The design objectives and constraints for the Stage 2 circuit are:
The filter must be a 3rd order Butterworth filter.
• DC gain of 0 dB.
• Gain less than 100 dB at the frequency of the noise (1 kHz).
• Minimum input impedance of 50k2 so that we preserve the signal we are trying to measure.
• Use the same power supply levels for the op-amp as you did in Section 3.1.
