Introduction to Writing Topic
a. We will talk about you and the sports you do or did and why we do it.

7. Structuring a Paragraph (5 minutes):
Writing a good paragraph:

A paragraph is a series of sentences that are organized and are about a single
topic. Almost every piece of writing you do that is longer
than a few sentences
should be organized into paragraphs

When we are writing, we usually separate our writing into three parts.
1. Topic sentence (what we are talking about, the subject)
2. Supporting details (the information
you want to tell me
)
3. Concluding sentence (finishing sentence) (paragraph-finishing topic)
