4. I met my best friend when I was five. I'm 22 now. (know)
- I've known my best friend for 17 years.
- I've known my best friend since I was five.

5. I gave up English in 2005. That was ages ago. (not study)
- I haven't studied English for ages.
- I haven't studied English since 2005.
