उटा कोठाको लम्बाइ, चौडाइ र उचाइ क्रमश: 7 मिटर, 6 मिटर र 4 मिटर छ । उक्त
कोठामा प्रत्येकको (1.5 x 1) वर्गमिटर क्षेत्रफल भएका दुईओटा झ्यालहरू र एउटा
1.5 वर्गमिटर क्षेत्रफल भएको ढोका छन् ।
The length, breadth and height of a room are 7 meter, 6 meter and 4
meter respectively. In that room there are two windows having area
(1.5 × 1) square meter each and a door with area 1.5 square meter.
a) झ्यालढोका बाहेक उक्त कोठाको चारभित्तामा प्रति वर्ग मिटर रु. 50 का दरले
प्लाष्टर गर्दा कति खर्च लाग्छ ? पत्ता लगाउनुहोस् ।
How much will it cost to plaster on the four walls of the room
excluding windows and door at the rate of Rs. 50 per square meter?

b) उक्त कोठाको भुईमा कार्पेट बिछ्याउँदा रु. 900 खर्च लागेछ । प्रति वर्ग मिटर
कार्पेट बिछ्याउँन ज्याला रु. 25 तोक्दा उपयुक्त हुन्छ ? कारण दिनुहोस् ।
When carpet is laid on the floor of the room, Rs. 900 has been spent.
Does the wage of Rs. 25 per square meter of the carpet is suitable?
