Sunday HW: My Fun Corner
Rekha's grand aunt has come to the city for a visit. She tells Rekha about her village. Fill in the blanks to complete her description. Choose words from the common, proper, collective, and abstract nouns boxes. You may use a word more than once.
My name is Renuka. I am a retired teacher. I live in a beautiful village called Sundarnagar. It lies between the hills and a long river called the River Amaravati. A dense forest lies to the east of our village. It is called Sundarvanam. We can see deer grazing at the foot of the mountains. A huge banyan tree stands in the center of our village. A council of villagers sits under the tree and discusses the welfare of the village. All the villagers believe in goodness and honesty. There is no enmity here. There is only peace and love. Herds of sheep and flocks of sparrows come to drink water from the river.
