The assignments and discussions in this course showed me that the research process is an organized and thorough strategy to learn about a topic or issue. Determining the research subject, conducting a scholarly investigation, planning research tasks, gathering facts, reviewing the information, and producing results are all part of the process. Scholarly research was the easiest step for me. I enjoyed researching current knowledge on a specific topic and utilizing information from multiple sources. The most challenging part for me, on the other hand, was gathering data. This stage involved thorough planning and implementation, and acquiring the vital details was not always straightforward. Research skills will always be essential in my line of work. In the industry of esthetics, things are constantly advancing. I'll always need to investigate and find out what changes are coming in the future to be informed and up to date on new trends and services. I will always need to understand the benefits or trends because they may need to be clarified for me. I need to know which sources can be trusted and which can't. Writing about issues unique to my line of work can help me gain a deeper understanding of the trajectory of my profession by encouraging the use of critical thinking, finding errors in the depth of my understanding, and establishing my professional goals.
