Because people learn in different ways, they must also be taught in different ways to get the material understood. Teaching methodologies would be those ways a teacher uses to get the information across to the students. Some teachers, mainly higher education, like to use lecture but some people learn nothing without examples, PowerPoint illustrations or actually doing the work. I am a very visual learner. A teacher can explain how a report should be set up many times and I still cannot make sense of it. However, if the teacher will show me just once with an actual report then I can replicate the style. I have to see something to internalize it. The teacher would need to use visual as well as auditory methodologies for me.
