In the island of blue
dolphins the author, Scott O'Dell uses this substance to capture wild dogs and
made them fall asleep: The substance is called, xuchal.
Three facts about this “drug”:
1. Xuchal is used as sleeping potions as some
say. It is like a sleeping pill that makes you drowsy.
2. Xuchal is created from “ground up” sea shells
and wild tobacco.
3. Sedation. Xuchal can cause someone to lose
conscientious and “faint”, making them doze off.
