Maltose,
also known as malt sugar contains two glucose units or, is a disaccharide type
of carbohydrates. Carbohydrates are organic molecules that comprises together
with lipids, amino acids and etc. the macromolecules of the organelles in the
cell body. There are three types of carbohydrates –monosaccharide (one glucose
unit), disaccharide (two glucose units) and polysaccharide (more than 2 glucose
units). These smaller organic molecules are what the nutrients composes and
what your organelles in your cell needs.
