Thermosphere extends from 80km above the surface odf the earth to the outer space. The molecules in the thermosphere receive surprising large amounts of energy from sun if the temperature is hot and might be high.
Mesosphere ia above stratosphere and it extends from 50 to 80km above the surface of the earth. It is the cold layer where temperature decreases and altitude increases.
Stratosphere is above trophosphere and is 35km deep. It extends from 15 to 50km above surface of the earth. Its top is warmer than the bottom part. Lower portion has constant temperature together with height and in the upper portion the temperature increases with altitude due to absorption of sunlight by ozone.
4. Troposphere is the closest to the surface of the earth. It extends up to 10 to 15 km above earth surface. It has atmosphere mass of 75%. It is wider in the equator than at the poles. If you go higher to the troposphere, the temperature, the pressure, and temperature drops.
