The perimeter of a square is 4 times as great as the length of any of it's sides. Determine whether the perimeter of the square is proportional to the
side length. Expain your reasoning, and also explain how you got the answer.
The perimeter of a square is proportional to the side length, with a ratio of 4:1 (4 to 1). This is because no matter what, the perimeter of any square will ALWAYS be exactly 4 times the length of any side. Therefore, a proportion can be made.
