Think of a famous person. Write a paragraph describing him or her, and use at least three methods of indirect characterization. You might describe the person's appearance, actions, speech, or effect on others. Do not, however, include the person's name. Then, exchange your character description with a partner's. Do you recognize the person your partner has described? Why or why not? Based on your partner's response, would you make any changes to your own characterization?
