Which of the following mathematical expressions is
equivalent to the verbal expression “A number, x,
squared is 39 more than the product of 10 and x” ?
F. 2x = 39 + 10x
G. 2x = 39x + 10x
H. x^2 = 390 − 10x

Answer :

the answer is F A number, x,squared (2x) is 39 more than the product of 10 and x (39 + 10x)
I think it should be x^2=39+10×....that does not seem to be an option though..
